Tips for Sugar Elite/Lite EFT

1. After you've configured loot filters, enemy display, and other visuals, if you can't make anything out in raid even with battle-mode enabled, go to the "misc" tab under "Configuration" and find the Visual Font setting. By default it's set to "New". If you change it to "Old", all fonts become thinner and take up much less space. Readability decreases with this setting, but your combat effectiveness improves since there's much less obstructing information in front of you. You can also experiment with "Use pixel font for", but I don't recommend disabling it for "Player flags" since that information is usually right in front of you, and the text becomes too bulky.

2. Some players use Nvidia Gamma settings to gain an advantage over regular players. Setting gamma to 2.8 and contrast to 65% on night or dark maps lets you see everything like it's daytime. The downsides are obvious: it applies to your entire screen, and menus and other programs will blind you. You'll have to toggle it frequently. But there's a "cheat" solution. In Sugar's "visuals" tab under the "World" category, there's a "Light source" option. Set it to white with 60% intensity. With this setting, you'll see at night like it's daytime, you won't be blinded during the day, and you can use other applications without constantly changing gamma.

3. If you play with friends who don't know you're using cheats, or you simply don't want other players to see you using infinite stamina, you can disable it in raid. This way stamina still remains infinite, but the running animation and sound are fixed (with infinite stamina enabled, you have a walking animation at running speed — an obvious giveaway to anyone watching). The downside is fatigue accumulates, greatly increasing energy consumption. I recommend carrying cola/MRE/Propital/SJ-12 for extended energy recovery.

4. The Elite version has high jump, air hover, and loot vacuum as a sub-option in silent loot. Keys from Raven's, Zlyden's, and Shakal's hideouts work great with loot vacuum, but Lion's room on Lighthouse causes huge problems for users of any cheat except Sugar. Lion's room is the juiciest locked room on Reef. Go to the house on the first floor below the desired room, enable high jump and air hover. Jump under the desired loot and enable loot vacuum. You might get teleported, there may be packet loss, but if you run around a bit while looking at the item you want with vacuum enabled, the item will soon appear in your inventory. This room is full of ice picks, Taiga-1 machetes, colored lab cards, and bitcoins. For class 6 armor plates, I recommend Zlyden's room on Interchange.
