What Lighthouse Is
Lighthouse is a relatively new open map in Tarkov. Size-wise comparable to Shoreline but the geometry is different: a stretched coastal zone with a water treatment plant, the USEC military base in the middle, and a chalet up on the cliffs. The signature feature is the Rogue faction — former USEC operatives guarding the military base who shoot any player on sight.
Players come for TerraGroup and UVC quests, Rogue hunting (challenging group PvE), and unique loot from the military base. Tough for solo, ideal for pairs or trios.
Why Come Here
Military base. Sealed perimeter with guaranteed rare loot: top assault rifles, armor-piercing ammo, tactical gear. Stable but defended by 7-8 Rogue operators.
Cliff chalet. Closed house with marked rooms and quest checkpoints. Several important Prapor and Skier quests pass through.
Unique quests. The UVC access chain — collect items, activate the radio tower. One of the best quest narratives in the game.
Sniper potential. Open fields and cliffs allow long-range fire. Good fit for 7.62×54 rifle players.
Map Structure
Lighthouse divides into several large zones.
Water Treatment Plant — industrial complex on the west with pipes, pump stations, storage. Average loot, but quest routes pass through.
USEC Military Base — center of the map, the most dangerous zone. Fenced perimeter with barracks, depots, radio tower. Guarded by Rogues with 7.62 caliber rifles.
Chalet — large cliff-top house with garden and driveway. Marked rooms, valuable loot, quest points.
USEC Checkpoint — small structure near the chalet. Marked safe, decent observation point.
Cliffs and towers — eastern part with elevations. Ideal sniper positions but few covers.
Lighthouse — the lighthouse tower itself on the shore. Quest point, observation position, occasionally sniper cover.
Coastal zone — beach and rocky shore along the southern boundary. Open ground, active snipers.
Spawns
PMC spawns split into two sides: western (closer to the Water Plant) and eastern (Cliffs and Lighthouse). The south has separate beach spawns.
Scavs appear around the Water Plant and on the cliffs. Concentration is lower than on other maps.
Rogue operators patrol the military base. Seven to eight stationary positions plus mobile patrols.
Military Base and Rogues
The military base is the main PvE objective. Inside are guaranteed loot points, but breaching is tough.
Rogues are former USEC operatives turned neutral faction. They attack any player inside the perimeter. They have 1200 HP, heavy armor, accurate fire up to 200 meters.
Standard tactic: group of 2-3 PMCs, single-side perimeter entry, baiting Rogues in groups of 1-2, sequential clear. Solo is possible with perfect spawn knowledge and hit-and-run, but the death rate is around 80%.
Rogue drops: top rifles (7.62×51 caliber), armor-piercing rounds, tactical helmets and class 5-6 armor.
Extracts
Northern. Air Force base highway (standard, no conditions), Hill trail (with Scav partner).
Eastern. Sea shore (boat required), Radio tower (after quest activation).
Southern. Through Lighthouse to the beach, Cordon (with partner).
Western. Through Water Plant, Tunnel to highway.
Lighthouse like Reserve — extracts demand pre-knowledge. Some paths are blocked when Rogues are active in the zone.
Quests
Prapor: "Communications Control", "Tower Capture" — both require activating the radio tower at the military base.
Skier: UVC access chain — four quests with map traversal and item collection.
Therapist: "Sea Air" — collect medical supplies in the chalet.
Mechanic: mid-tier weapon parts quests. Some require disassembling Rogue weapons.
Tactics by Scenario
Quiet looter. Western spawn, perimeter route around the military base, loot at Water Plant and Chalet, extract via highway. Survival 40%, average loot.
Military base farm. Group of 3 PMCs, 7.62×51 armor-piercing ammo, single-side perimeter entry, sequential Rogue clear. Survival 25-35%, top loot.
Sniper run. 7.62×54 rifle, high-magnification scope, entry through cliffs. Open distances 200-400 meters, picking off Scavs and Rogues from afar. Survival 50%.
Quest raid. Direct route to UVC or Prapor quest points, minimal Rogue contact. Survival 50% with prepared route.
Where Cheats Help on Lighthouse
Lighthouse is long-distance combat plus military base territory control. Useful functions:
ESP / wallhack for tracking Rogues at the military base. Knowing where each sentry sits before entering the perimeter saves you from ambushes. Sky or Sugar Lite.
Radar for group coordination and Rogue patrol tracking. RADAR SMG or RADAR Browser.
AIM at long distance — critical against Rogues firing at 200+ meters. Full kits like Sugar Elite or VX (RAGE) give the biggest edge. Detail in our aimbot article.
